Lions have their Pride
There is an unspoken rule in South Africa if there is more than one lion in the road, the cars stop. A surprised driver in Kruger National Park captured video of a pride of lions wandering out into a road and blocking traffic. A group of four male lions strutting through the lanes of traffic. Vehicles are shown slowing and stopping to make way for the lions, which parade in front of a slow-moving car. Local experts said the lions are part of a group known as the Mantimahle coalition. “The lions and lionesses and their cubs just kept on stepping out of the scrubland and into the road.”
Two lions who, escaped from the zoo, split up to increase their chances but agree to meet later. When they finally meet, one is skinny and the other overweight. The thin one says: “How did you manage? I ate a human just once and they turned out a small army to chase me — guns, nets, it was terrible. Since then I’ve been reduced to eating mice, insects, even grass.” The fat one replies: “Well, I hid near an RTA office and ate a manager a day. And nobody even noticed!”
This Detroit neighborhood is getting so bad that we had an incident at the zoo. A lion got out of its cage and was mauled by several people in the neighborhood before it could get back to safety.
