Fuzzy Wins

The biennial 2019 World Beard and Mustache Championship was held in Antwerp. Sponsored this year by “Moustache Club of Antwerp” the event draws beard and mustache enthusiasts from around the world for a three-day convention and contest. Events include a ladies’ competition, with categories for Realistic and Creative expression of artificial beards and mustaches. There are three brackets of facial hair under consideration in competition: mustache, partial beard and full beard, and each has several categories for judges to score.

Smarty: “I once had a beard like yours, and when I saw how terrible it looked, I immediately cut it off”. Smarter: “I used to have a face like yours, too. And when I saw how terrible it made me look, I immediately grew a beard.”

My friend was looking at an old picture of me without a beard, and asked, “Did you grow a beard?” “No. I shaved the photos.”

It’s good to have beardless friends. When you go out, everyone assumes you’re their leader.
