Gravity is the law
Gravity is the law
A pair of massive boulders rolled off a Colorado hillside and smashed into a highway, destroying the pavement and leaving the route blocked by a house-sized rock. The first rock weighed about 8.5 million pounds and gouged a rut 8 foot deep through the road. The second rock that rested on the road was only 2.3 million pounds. State transportation officials will have to blast apart the rock on the road before it could be re-opened.
Millions of years ago, there was no such thing as the wheel: One day, some primitive guys were watching their wives drag a dead mastodon to the food & fire area. It was exhausting work; the guys were getting tired just watching. Then they noticed some large, smooth, rounded boulders and they had a great idea! They could sit on top of the boulders and get a better view of their wives working. This was the first in a series of breakthroughs that ultimately led to… television and later to the remote control.
A dropped object will fall with an acceleration of 32 feet per second per second, and if it is your smartphone, it will make every effort to land in a public toilet.
Gravity is a contributing factor in 73 percent of all accidents involving falling objects.
A strapless gown is a compromise between the laws of decency and the laws of gravity.
