Tyrannosaurus Race
Tyrannosaurus Race
The starting gate at Emerald Downs racetrack looked normal, the bell rang and the gates popped open, but instead of horses…Tyrannosaurus Rex came clamoring through the gates and poured on to the track. At the wire, a dino named “Regular Unleaded” took the victory, holding off “Rex Girlfriend” by a tail. The sight of fierce-looking dinosaurs bobbing down a groomed dirt racetrack has quickly become a fan favorite at Emerald Downs. Saturday’s race marked the third year that T-Rexes have sprinted at Emerald Downs. TriGuard Pest Control’s annual group outing at the track somehow evolved into its sales reps sprinting down a horse track wearing floppy dinosaur suits. “The crowd response is the best part of the event. The kids love us, and we enjoy taking pictures with them before and after the race.”
I asked the librarian if she knew of any authors who wrote dinosaur novels.
She said, “Try Sarah Topps!”
Q: What do you call a dinosaur with an extensive vocabulary?

Two buddies were commenting on their friend Harry’s bad luck at the track. The first one said, “It is funny you know how lucky Harry is at cards and how unlucky he is on the horses.” His buddy said, “Nothing funny about it, they won’t let Harry shuffle the horses.”
Q: Why can’t you hear a pterodactyl using the bathroom?
A: Because the ‘p’ is silent
