What would you do if a mama bear lost her cub in your dumpster and mama and her other son were wailing to get him out? …You call the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. They come with special tools and the ability to talk to bears. A bear tried to open the container from the outside to get his brother out and mama paced outside wailing for them to vamoose. After several adorable — but failed — attempts at freeing their family member, the two bears allowed the deputies to help. Keeping their lights on Mama and talking to her the whole time, these guys pull out their dumpster pole and open the lid and then put a step ladder in so the boys can climb out on their own. Just another night of bear necessity.
