Dasher saves Dante for Christmas

Dasher, a wonderful German Shepherd, lives in Mildura, Australia. Dasher spent his whole 7 month life with the Berry family. No one noticed when 2 year old Dante Berry sneaked out of the house and into the surrounding woods…except Dasher. He followed the little boy as he traipsed around in the brush and got lost. After a while the parents noticed Dante was gone and not anywhere around the house. They called police and started searching in a bigger radius. A search party was organized, but torrential rains that night stopped the search until morning. Dante had Dasher with him the whole time and the two of them slept together on the forest floor. In the morning the searchers found them together and dirty, but not worse for wear, thanks to Dasher.

Walking through a shopping mall, I noticed two women standing in front of the directory. The posted map showed the facility’s layout and had an arrow indicating “You are here.” I overheard one woman say to the other, “How do they know where we are?”

From halfway across the store, I could hear a mother frantically calling for her son: “Jimmy. Jimmy.” I turned around a corner into another aisle and found a six-year-old boy by himself playing with some umbrellas. “Are you, Jimmy”? I asked. “Yes” “Did you hear your mother calling you?” “Yes.” “Aren’t you going to go to her?” He shook his head no, “she’s not hysterical yet.”

An Englishman stops a local Irishman for directions… “Excuse me pal, what’s the quickest way to Dublin?”
Paddy says “Are you on foot or in the car?”
The Englishman says “In the car.”
Paddy replies “That’s the quickest!”

Why did Dorothy get lost in Oz?
She had three men giving her directions.
