For the cat that has everything
Singapore is offering $225 cat cruises with four-course dinner on a luxury ship, the world’s first ‘cat cruise’ in Singapore. The cruise company is offering cat owners a chance to sail and dine with their pets on the world’s first cat-friendly dinner cruise. Tall Ship Adventures will host up to 15 felines and 130 passengers on sunset cruises sailing for 2.5 hours from the resort island of Sentosa, Singapore. Cats and owners board the 47meter luxury tall ship the Royal Albatross now fitted with a Cat playground, Cat Lounge and Cat hammocks the company has coined “cat-banas.” Meanwhile, owners feast on a four-course meal of gourmet dishes. Prawns, salmon, chicken and pavlova are on the current menu (and furry friends get a seat at the table). Skills and welfare masterclasses with cat experts are featured on deck for cat lovers to socialize. Tall Ship guidelines state that to board the cruise all cats must be under the supervision of an owner and comfortable wearing a harness and lead for safety purposes.
But wait, there is more
“Tofu has been a rambunctious member of our family for almost two years now and has a brother kitty named Skwinkle,” said Clarrisse Bosman. In December 2024, Clarrisse was out of state visiting her family, when she got a surprise call from her fiancé. He told Bosman that one of Tofu’s front teeth had shattered, leaving the tooth pulp visible. When her fiancé’s attention lapsed for a moment, Tofu swiped Clarrisse decorative music box made of balsa wood and started chewing on it. Buying a gold tooth worth thousands of dollars might be outside some pet owners’ ballpark. But that’s what Clarrisse did. They couldn’t leave Tofu with what must’ve been one hell of a toothache, so off to a kitty dentist she went. Most pet owners are prepared to go above and beyond to keep their dear critters happy and healthy. That said, there is often a limit on just how much you’re prepared to sacrifice.
Bosman took the cat to the vet, who had grim news for her. The veterinary dentist said that they had no choice but to pull Tofu’s damaged tooth. That, or attempt to give her a root canal and install a gold tooth cap. It wasn’t even a question for her. Tofu was too young to go without a tooth. There was no guarantee that the dentist could successful cram the prosthetic in. Yet, Bosman was ready to try — despite the gold tooth’s $5,000 price tag. So, today not only does Tofu have gold grills, but she’s also a viral social media star. Everything’s coming up Tofu.
Too much money
My friend is making a lot of money by selling photos of salmon dressed up in human clothes
It’s like shooting fish in apparel…
Growing up we didn’t have a lot of money. I had to use a hand-me-down calculator with no multiplication symbol on it.
Times were tough.
Why was Beethoven making a lot of money?
He was earning “Fur Elise.”
Mick, was on Ireland’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” He had already won 500,000 euros. “You’ve done very well,” said the presenter, “But for a million euros, Which of the following birds does NOT build its own nest? A) Sparrow B) Thrush C) Magpie D) Cuckoo. “I don’t know,” said Mick. “I’ll use my last lifeline and phone my friend Paddy.” Paddy wasn’t the smartest, but Mick had his number memorized. Mick rang and repeated the question to Paddy. “Dat’s simple. It’s a cuckoo!” Paddy said, “Are you sure? “Yes!” “I’ll go with cuckoo, Chris said.” “Is that your final answer?” asked Chris. “Yup.” There was a pause then the presenter screamed, “Cuckoo is correct! You’ve won one million euros!” “Tell me, Paddy? How in heaven’s name did you know it was da Cuckoo that doesn’t build its own nest?” “Well, duh! Because he lives in a clock!”
