Andrea Gaylord had two dogs, Miguel and Madison. They spent most of their time outside, but she could not find them before she was forced to evacuate her Paradise, California home during the “Camp” fire. Shayla Sullivan an animal rescue neighbor left food and water at the burned out house site to encourage the dogs to return if they could. When Andrea was allowed to return, Madison was there waiting for her. Miguel was found later by another rescue worker. The house was gone, but the family was intact.

A woman walks into a psychoanalyst’s office and says, “doctor, my husband thinks he’s a dog! I don’t know what to do! Please help.”
The doctor replies, “Okay, have him get on the couch.” The woman quickly snapped back, “Wait, no, he’s not allowed on the couch!”
