Locked out for 47 years

Evan Osnos reported his 3 year old son got frustrated when playing with his father’s iPad. The boy could not figure out the password to open the device, but just kept trying over and over again to get the screen to light up. Evan tweeted a photo of his iPad lock screen, which told him the device had been locked for 25,536,442 minutes because his toddler had guessed too many incorrect passwords. He got it back, but this might be a lesson about trusting computers to little people.

A new iPad app was released that encourages Americans to go to the gym. How does it work? The app is just a giant mirror.

I was visiting my son the other night when I asked if I could borrow a newspaper. “Dad, this is the 20th century,” he said “I don’t waste money and newspapers but if you like you can borrow my Ipad.” I can tell you this: that spider never knew what hit him.

Circulation of newspapers has fallen to all-time lows. They say newspapers are becoming obsolete. I’ll tell you how bad it’s gotten. Today I saw a homeless guy sleeping on a park bench with an iPad on his face.
