A 64-year-old civilian got the most surprising ride of his life. His fellow employees at the defense company got him a ride in a jet fighter at an Air Show. The man had no desire to fly and had no previous aviation experience, but the ride was a gift from colleagues and the man felt he couldn’t refuse. The force of the take-off made him “float” off his seat, causing him to stand up and grab the ejection handle to steady himself. He was ejected from the two-seater jet and lost his helmet in the process. His parachute deployed and he had a soft landing in a field, avoiding serious injury.

We sat down, faced the camera, put our lips together and held the pose waiting for the camera to click. At that moment, we heard people yelling, “wave, wave”. Embarassed, we stopped kissing and began waving to the camera just as a big wave hit us from behind and completely soaked us.
