View from the top
The Thrill-seekers at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a theme park in the U.K. had an exciting, memorable outing last week. They all were excited to ride the third highest-longest roller coaster in the world –“ The Big One”. Standing at 235 feet high, the first drop has an incline angle of 65 degrees and reaches up to 85 mph. The full ride is more than a mile long. The speed and pitch are terrifying, but it was even worse for this crowd when the ride stopped. The whole loaded train clanked to the top and then stopped. The folks sat locked in the cars for almost an hour until the staff locked the ride and climbed up to free the riders and have them walk down the stairway next to the track. “That walk down was more scary than the ride,” one person said in a video. But the view was spectacular!

Upon seeing his injuries, the friend asked: “What happened to you?”
“Well, we went to a theme park and decided to ride a roller coaster,” the man explained. “As we came to the top of the highest loop, I noticed a sign by the side of the track. I tried to read it, but it was too small and I couldn’t make it out. I was so curious that I went around again, but we went by so quickly that I still couldn’t see what the sign said. By now I was determined, so I went around a third time. As we reached the top I stood up in the car to get a better view.”
“And did you manage to see what the sign said this time?” asked his friend.
“Yeah.” answered the man. “The sign said ‘Please remain seated at all times!’”
