A different day at the beach
It seemed like a comfortable, sunny day at the beach…until the wild pig came swimming, yes swimming in. Wild boar are known to be able swimmers. When the pig was spotted headed to the beach the yelling “run, run” started, but one man was able to grab a shovel and swat the pig with it to drive the pig away from the group of people. Wild pigs in Germany are common and a big nuisance. Last week a naked man was photographed chasing a boar that had stolen his belongings through a park in Berlin. In 2019, Danish authorities built a 42-mile fence spanning the German border, not far from the beach at Schonhagen, in order to keep wild boar out.
