An electrifying morning

Meredith Donato, got the call we all have been dreading. She knew her mother liked to get up early and linger for a few minutes over her morning cup of tea while looking out the kitchen window. It was a pretty quiet Friday morning and the weather around greater San Fransisco was pretty clear. Meredith got the call that her mother’s house had been invaded by a car, right through the wall of the kitchen. Her mother’s house sat at the bottom of a long hill on a regular two-lane asphalt road, but between the road and the house was about 50 feet of yard including a wooden fence, a dirt embankment and a swimming pool. When Meredith called, her mother answered, surprised to hear Merdith’s voice so early in the morning. It turns out Mom had gone out for breakfast with some friends and did not even know there was a Tesla in her kitchen that had come in through the wall. The car’s rear wheels were dangling in the air with the front end deep inside the home, stopped by the kitchen stove. “Thankfully, no one was hurt in this collision.”

The family has lived in the home for 25 years and they knew some drivers really enjoyed speeding down the hill, but had never had a problem because of the wooden fence. San Mateo police were called to a quiet residential area just after 7 a.m. Friday after a 70-year-old woman’s Tesla Model X crashed into a home. The Tesla ended up inside a California family’s home early Friday morning after the driver lost control, hitting an embankment that caused the vehicle to soar through a nearby yard, driveway, and over a swimming pool before colliding into the kitchen of another home. “Obviously a big collision like that doesn’t happen every day, so multiple officers responded to make sure everyone was OK,” police said. The driver and her daughter, 40, who was in the passenger seat, remained at the scene following the chaotic crash. Neither of the women was injured.

Neighbor Sean Carmichael told the station it sounded like an earthquake hit, as he returned from getting coffee to find two parked cars destroyed. The car was headed down a steep slope when witnesses saw it come to a stop and then accelerate rapidly. The Tesla was moving downhill and was not in self-driving mode. The building was declared unfit for habitation until the car was removed and the city verified its structural integrity. There was no fire with this crash, but it still made an interesting way to start your day.

Tesla tickles

Tesla has just announced their new lawn mower:
E Lawn

What happens if a Tesla gets hit by lightning!
No need to charge it for the next year!?

Tesla founder Elon Musk is originally from South Africa, which is strange.
You’d think he was from mad-at-gas-car.

A lawyer opened the door of his Tesla to get out, when suddenly a car came along and hit the door, ripping it off completely. When the police arrived at the scene, the lawyer was complaining bitterly about the damage to his precious Tesla. “Officer, look what they’ve done to my Model S!!!”, he whiningly said. “You lawyers are so materialistic, you make me sick!!!” retorted the officer, “You’re so worried about your stupid Tesla, that you didn’t even notice that your left arm was ripped off!!!” “Oh my God,” replied the lawyer, finally noticing the bloody left shoulder where his arm once was, “Where’s my Rolex?”
