Cat burglar
Noemi Zonta swore a burglar broke into her apartment in Koper, Slovenia, when she returned home to discover it trashed. Drawers and cupboards were flung open in the kitchen and the whole house was in ruins. She even found urine on her bed. “We live in a big house and it has three apartments,” Noemi explained. “We live in one of them, we rent the second one and the third one is currently empty, my family sometimes use it for weekend visits.” Her brother swung by the home to find the disaster, asking Zonta if she and her partner had been living there. “We went to check the apartment immediately and we were 100% sure that someone broke in,” she continued. “The kitchen was a mess, all bottles and glasses were flipped over and all drawers were open.” “We didn’t want to touch anything because we wanted to leave the crime scene untouched,” she added. The police investigated the mysterious incident, realizing there were no broken windows or doors nor any missing items. “Investigators took urine samples and checked footprints.” The urine sample results showed the waste belonged to a cat, but it still left the couple stumped since they don’t own a cat. “Eventually one of the investigators opened a closet in the bedroom and there was a cute, scared cat lying inside on a pile of bed covers,” she recalled. “It turns out that my dad went inside the empty apartment on Saturday to get the keys to the basement and the neighbor’s cat sneaked in,” Noemi added. “Of course, he didn’t notice it and he locked the door.” For four days, they found out, the cat had been trapped inside the house.
Here is a cat of a different temper: Cynthia Kootz is calling her house cat, “Binky” a hero for protecting her family from a man trying to break into her home on the southeast side of Indianapolis. The woman told police she was watching television in her living room around midnight when she heard someone at her front door. “Well, I got up and it was a bald-headed man, and I never seen him before in my life, wanting in,” she said. “I said ‘No you’re not going to get in here’; ‘Well, I got to get in, they’re trying to kill me.’ Cynthia claimed he said, ‘I don’t care.” Kootz said the man began kicking and screaming. “I tried to call the police at first, but they put me on hold. “Well, then the guy says, ‘Well I’m getting in whether anybody likes it or not.’ The man pushed open the screen window and reached for the door handle. “Binky went after him, and I think Binky just bit him once then because Binky turned around and ran off,” she said. “Well, I thought Binky ran into the house.” But Binky, who is declawed, didn’t go very far. Cynthia said the man tried reaching for the door handle again. “Well, next thing I knew Binky took off again, and this time he tore the guy’s hand and arm up,” he said. “This time he held onto that guy; all I seen was fur going up and down at the end of his arm.” Police arrived on scene and arrested 41-year-old Earl Scruggs. Cynthia said police had to call for an ambulance because of his injuries.
Bad Burglars
One night a burglar broke into my house
All he got was practice.
A Burglar got into the house of a Lawyer the other day…
After a terrible struggle, the Lawyer succeeded in robbing him.
A Burglar broke into our house last night. I didn’t shoot him. I just put the red laser dot on his forehead.
Our three cats did the rest.
An idiot has a mirror in his closet. He wakes up one night and opens the closet and he sees himself. Scared, he quickly calls the cops.
“Police! There’s a burglar in my closet, come quickly!”
A policeman arrives at the idiot’s house and opens the closet and finds the mirror. He takes a step back and slaps the idiot as hard as he can.
“Why did you call me when you already had a policeman in there?”
