Fat Bear week

 

Americans are in flurry of campaigning and argument over the big election coming. Every day between now and October 6th people around the world are voting for the best Fat Brown Bear at the Katmai National Park in Alaska. The contest started with many nominees and this weekend the list has been winnowed down to 12 contestants including the winner from 2019, known simply as 747. “He is A real tank at over 1000 pounds. A giant among bears. He’s the largest Brown bear I’ve ever seen, and likely one of the largest bears alive on Earth,” according to park ranger Mike Fitz. The protests of bears other colors of have been ignored and there will likely be violence in the park after the contest is decided. The park manager has had to move from her cabin to an undisclosed place in the forest until the emotions settle down. May the biggest bear win and sleep all winter.
