* The tax preparer asked the Irish woman, “When was your son born?” She said, “in December last year.”   “That is great because you can claim him as deduction for the whole year that way.”    “Really?”    “Sure, that is why there are so many babies are born in December.”    “Oh,” she replied, “I thought it was because of St. Patrick’s day.”

* During the busy tax season my accountant puts in long hours, but since he works at home he takes quick naps during the day. One day I phoned over there and his wife answered. I asked her, “when can he return my call?”  She responded, “I don’t know he is sleeping between two clients right now.”

@ As we walked around the amusement park we stopped to watch the caricature artist work. A fiftyish woman commented when the young man charged $15 for a portrait, “Fifteen dollars just to have someone draw my wrinkles.”  The young man turned and studied her face for a moment, then replied, “I don’t see any wrinkles.”  She immediately sat down and had her $15 portrait drawn.
