Honey, did you order a snake?
Jenny Warrick of Hampshire, England was getting up about 5:30 am and looked out her window to see a big yellow snake crawling across the neighbor’s roof. “I saw something on the roof and thought it must be a plastic tube, but then its head started moving,” she said. She said she told her husband, who replied: “Don’t be silly.” But then, “We realized that it was definitely a snake and it was moving all over the roof, trying to find a way to get down,” “It’s not what you want to see first thing in the morning…my husband hates snakes, and he couldn’t get to work fast enough.” The python was about 18 feet long and finally wiggled onto the gutter and stuck it head into an open window. “You don’t want to see first thing in the morning, a huge albino snake climbing through your bedroom window.”
Fortunately, the lady of that house did not panic, she took a broom and pushed the head of Python back out the window and it fell off the roof on to the hood of a car below with a serious thud. A neighbor leaving for work cavalierly picked up the snake and took it to another neighbor lady who kept snakes. She said it was not hers, but she suspected she knew it came from another guy around the corner who kept large snakes. “Snakes are excellent escape artists and will take the opportunity of a gap in an enclosure door, or a loose-fitting lid to make a break for it. “Snakes become more active during hot weather. “We urge all pet snake owners to be extra vigilant at this time of year, invest in an enclosure suitable for the particular species and make sure that enclosure is kept secure – and locked if necessary – when unattended. She added: “People should only consider keeping a snake if they can ensure they are fully able to provide for these needs.”
The video below shows snakes are pretty flexible: Toronto is the city of love and compassion and all of Canada is famous for its courtesy. So it was a surprise that our team found a story of a late-night confrontation between two Cananians who may have been enjoying some adult beverages, in their own way. Saturday, police said they received a call about a man threatening people with a python snake and officers were dispatched to the area. Then they got another call about two men fighting in the middle of the highly traveled street downtown. The fight was well past the threats and sparring when the police rolled up with lights and siren. The video below shows a man swinging his pet snake and using it to repeatedly strike his opponent. The victim tries to defend himself, but the man continues to thrash him with the snake. Police break up the brawl and subdue both men, meanwhile, the snake is seen slithering away. A Toronto resident identified as Laurenio Avila, 45, was arrested and has been charged with assault with a weapon and causing unnecessary pain or suffering to an animal. Many video viewers were most worried about the snake’s well-being.
The snakes of Toronto
Every Canadian has a complicated relationship with the United States, whereas Americans think of Canada as the place where the weather comes from.
Intellectuals think that the Earth revolves around the Sun…
Canadians know that the universe revolves around Toronto.
Saskatchewan is known for its extreme temperatures. It’s very cold. When I was in elementary school, I had to walk backwards to school so I wouldn’t get frostbite on the front of my face.
Did you hear about the Toronto Celebrity Roast?
It was cancelled for excessive politeness.
Why do Newfies want Québec to separate?
So it’s a shorter drive to Toronto!
