“Nobody reads the mail” and “Nobody cares about billboards” Unless… You add some creativity: Have a muffin crush a car! Bloom Supermarkets grabbed the attention of drivers in Charlotte, N.C., with a combination billboard-and-squashed-car marketing event drawing attention to the jumbo muffins sold by Bloom. The billboard company let drivers get used to the billboard and car combo for 10 days. Then at 3 in the morning, a crew came by to crush the Kia under the billboard and put a giant muffin on top. The company got hundreds of calls to tell them their muffin fell off. Here are a bunch of show stoppers that got lots of attention and sales.
