Set a record, get a round to it
I bet this grandma has a cookie you can’t eat or find on your computer. Pull up a chair and get a big glass of milk. Ross Smith and his 95-year-old grandmother created 175-pound Oreo measuring around 4-feet wide, which is “more than 7,024 times larger than a normal-sized Oreo. “We looked up online what the world’s biggest Oreo was, and we decided we were going to go bigger and better.” The creation became part of Grandma’s 95th birthday celebration on Aug. 5. “Hopefully we will be able to finish this thing off in a few months … before it goes stale,” as Grandma laughed. The Guinness World Record for largest Oreo was around 160 pounds. The Ohio pair’s creation eclipsed the record holder by 15 pounds. When the cookie was first introduced in 1912, it appeared as an Oreo Biscuit, which changed in 1921 to an Oreo Sandwich. As of 2019, it was estimated that 450 billion Oreo cookies have been sold since 1912, planting it firmly at the top of cookie sales and winning over the hearts of millions. This Grandma is still cooking.
Cookie, cookie
I once opened a fortune cookie with nothing inside of it
It was unfortunate…
“A cookie a day keeps the sadness away. An entire jar of cookies a day brings it back.”
Have you tried the new Wookiee cookie?
It’s a bit chewy.
I’m looking forward to the day we celebrate that chocolate cookie with white icing in the middle.
Mem-Oreo Day.
