On Sunday, Shamon was waltzin’ by the neighborhood gas pumps in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He noticed a woman had gone into the store and left her purse in the front seat. Enterprising young man that he was, he dipped in there to see what he could find.
On Tuesday, he decided to have lunch and have the score pay for the meal. He ate and gave a credit card to the waitress in the diner about 2 blocks from his heist. She took the card went into the kitchen and called police. Police spokesman: Lt. David De Foor said officers arrested 21-year-old Shamon West on Tuesday at Shannon’s Restaurant in Pine Bluff. He was trying to pay for his meal with the waitress’ own stolen credit card. Officers recovered her wallet, social security card and her driver’s license from Shamon’s car in the parking lot.
