Humans to the rescue

Have you ever had a wandering uncle or a dog that just could not be kept on the leash or in the yard? Apparently, so does Sea World. A sea lion made its way to a highway interchange east of downtown San Diego Friday morning, a shocking sight that caused drivers to pull over to help protect the lost creature. Curiously this seal likes to travel. “This specific sea lion has been rescued by SeaWorld’s Rescue team before and has a track record of wandering into odd places.” said the SeaWorld spokesperson.  The animal has shown up near the San Diego International Airport and the Navy Base in Point Loma, though none quite as far from the water as where it was found.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes, I had to capture this because people are not going to believe this. I never expected to see a sea lion on the freeway. It was also like the perfect San Diego story,” Josefine Jandinger said. “People here love animals and anything that has to do with the ocean. It’s San Diego pride. It was a collaborative effort to save this poor creature that must be traumatized.” CHP officers arrived and slowed traffic, and the agency asked SeaWorld to help rescue the sea lion. “We got in our truck immediately and rushed down to ensure that the sea lion, obviously, wasn’t hit by a car,” Sea World Smith said at the scene. “Being on the freeway is very, very unsafe for a sea lion. I have no idea how that animal got all the way up the freeway on the 94, this far east,” she said, noting that it took the rescue team about 15-20 minutes to drive from SeaWorld to the spot where the sea lion was found. “I don’t know how it traveled there.” (Uber?)

Trafficstration

A cop stopped a guy for speeding…
Cop said: “Do you know how fast you were going?”
The guy replied: “I was trying to keep up with traffic”
The cop said: “But there is no traffic”
And the guy answered: “That’s how far behind I am”

A hippy cut me off in traffic
I gave him the half peace sign.

Why was Vladimir involved in a traffic accident on the way to the airport in Moscow?
He was Russian and ran a red light.

I was sitting in traffic the other day
Probably why I got run over.
