It’s all downhill from here
When people think of their dream wedding, it usually involves a beautiful and romantic setup with the bride and groom dressed in their best attire. However, new-age couples are ditching traditional settings and have been exploring unique ways to celebrate their big day. Priscilla Ant and Filippo LeQuerce chose an adventurous celebration, not just for themselves, but also for the wedding guests, who will probably never forget it. Love transcends boundaries, and this sentiment is widely accepted. For this recently wedded duo, love manifests as an embodiment of adventure, thrill, and excitement. To mark the commencement of their journey together: First off, the wedding party of about 15 including the minister had to get to the top of a very high mountain. Then the actual ceremony was held on the edge of a precipice overlooking a drop of about 500 feet. While the groom wore a nice suit and the bride had a white dress they both had backpacks as did the other dozen or so witnesses scattered among the rock outcroppings that completed the pinnacle they were standing on.
The minister had a microphone and a PA system of sorts and the entire event was being video recorded from several angles by drone. After sealing their commitment, they clasped each other’s hands tightly, the “altar” group posed for the drone photographer, then donned their skydiving gear for the grand spectacle. Amidst exuberant cheers and laughter, the couple, accompanied by their enthusiastic guests, fearlessly leaped into the sky, commemorating this joyous occasion with an unforgettable skydiving experience. Even the minister and his assistant jumped with them. Then the wedding guests followed suit diving into thin air falling at accelerating speed. It was not a mass suicide; it was a mass skydive. Fortunately, every one of their back packs blossomed into steerable parachutes. You could follow them down the mountain side and as they got very small you saw the puff of the drag chute and then the blossoming of their sail wing inflating as they circled like birds down to their targeted landing site at the base of the mountain. How’s that for memorable?
