Frustrated with the lockdown, Innovate

Nathalie Moermans and her 16-year-old daughter lived in sight of a McDonald’s in La Louviere, Belgium, but could not eat there. At first the lockdown was a joke, but the more they thought about being locked out of the neighborhood restaurant the more it bothered them. “My daughter wanted to go but I told her we couldn’t since we don’t have a car and we couldn’t go with somebody else either, because of the lockdown.” Living in Europe they did not have a car to drive through. After pouting and feeling cheated, they conspired. Mom had the idea to dress up like a car and walk through the line, but they ended up making a cardboard car out of discarded cartons. The rest is a viral history as you can see from their post.

Hamburger Humor

I went to McDonalds for the first time since the quarantine and sat in my car for 40 minutes before the girl in the drive-thru finally convinced me it was safe to roll down my window.

When people ask what I did for a living, I proudly say I served my country for 13 years. Even if it was from a McDonalds Drive-Thru window.

Fact of the Day: Only 12 plants and five animal species make up 75% of what the world eats. . . . And all of them are located in the #2 value meal at McDonald’s.

I don’t even want McDonald’s breakfast now that I can have it anytime.
