Get a round to it
David Olson, 33, was demolishing the back steps of his house on the morning of July 1st, when he saw a black sphere buried in the sand behind some the cinder blocks. They were bowling balls. ” I didn’t think a whole lot of it. I was kind of assuming maybe there were just a couple in there just to fill in. The deeper I got into it the more I realized it was just basically an entire gridwork of them filling up the space under there,” Olson said. “I was actually a little happy about that because it’s a little easier to roll bowling balls out of the way than to move the sand and figure out where to put all that,” he said. Olson discovered up to 160 balls. Olson said there used to be a Brunswick bowling ball plant in Muskegon. He said some ex-Brunswick employees contacted him and said workers used to take scrapped bowling balls to use as a cheaper alternative to gravel or sand. Olson’s stepfather is set to receive some of the balls, and plans to turn them into custom furniture. But Olson plans to keep most of balls for himself to make sculptures and edging for his property.
Striking Humor
I told my friend i have got a new job at a bowling alley
She said “Tenpin?” I said, “No, it’s a permanent job.”
My car can speed faster than bullets, drive under water and knock down evil like bowling pins.
It’s a Porsche to be reckoned with
I got kicked off my bowling team the other day. I managed to knock all the pins down on my first two turns. Then on my third turn I did it again and the leader of the team turned to me and said “Sorry, you’re going to have to leave the team.”
Apparently, they have a three strike policy.
I go bowling once every four years to make sure I still hate it.
If our small town didn’t have bowling, there’d be no culture at all.
