A Creative Husky

Perhaps his name should be Smoky. Stanford le Hope, was at work when he checked the feed from his home security cameras. He saw that his kitchen was full of smoke, so he dropped everything, called the fire department and drove home. Security video revealed his pet husky was looking for a snack and either knew or smelled the buns Stan had stored in the microwave when he left for work. Trying to paw his way into the device on a sink counter, he started it up; either long enough or often enough to set the package inside on fire. The fire had been contained within the microwave, but the kitchen suffered considerable smoke damage. The dog, however, was unharmed.

My dog was my soul mate; we both took naps, we both skipped lunch, we both hated the vacuum… —Elayne Boosler

I dressed my dog up as a cat for Halloween. Now he won’t come when I call him.

I spend three minutes every day choosing a TV channel to leave on for my dog. Then I go to work, and people take me seriously as an adult.

Cats are smarter than dogs. You can’t get eight cats to pull a sled through snow.
