Bona Columbus Day
Bona Columbus Day
Columbus Day is the second Monday in October. The day celebrates Christopher Columbus’ proving to America existed and that Italians can work with Spaniards. President Benjamin Harrison called upon the people of the United States to join together in celebration of Columbus Day on the 400th anniversary of the event. Columbus Day is not a holiday in Italy, but other Latin American countries and Spain do celebrate Columbus Day.
The Columbus Day parade was rerouted, because if they march too far in one direction, they were afraid to fall off the edge of the earth.
If Christopher Columbus was a bad guy and we’re going to start blaming people 600 yrs later, I’m calling out Queen Isabella as an enabler.
As a man, I honor Christopher Columbus every day of the year by refusing to ask for directions
Columbus Day wouldn’t have happened if the Native Americans had built that wall.
