A runaway cow led Paris, Texas police on a miles-long chase through city streets. Police said the cow made a run for it while being loaded into a sale barn and police were called to help. A police dashboard camera recorded the cow running at a high speed through the streets. The highlight of the reel was the cow jumping over a pedestrian as the man walked down the street. The man was knocked to the ground, but wasn’t seriously injured. The cow managed to evade officers for more than 24 hours before it was hit by a car and killed. The police chief remarked, “Just another day in Paris.”

A young city girl was vacationing in the country and became friendly with one of the farm boys. One evening as they strolled across the property they saw a cow and calf rubbing noses. The boy said, “The sight of that makes me want to do the same.” City girl responded, “Go ahead, it’s your cow.”

A real cowboy went to a restaurant in the city and ordered a steak. The waiter brought a very, very rare steak to the table and placed it before the cow hand. He said, “Take that steak back and cook it.” The waiter insisted that the steak was cooked. The cowboy replied, “I have seen steers hurt worse than that get up and walk away. Now cook it.”

Nature is just amazingly creative. Who would have thought of putting a fly swatter on the end of a cow?
