Dough not try to stop us
Folks in Ireland are more than just a little excited now that the nation’s first Krispy Kreme has opened. More than 300 people were lined up at 7 a.m. at the doughnut chain’s location in Dublin last week for its grand opening. People lined up at the store day and night, jamming the streets of the neighborhood. So many people lined up at the 24 hour drive through window, that the city asked Krispy Kreme to close between 11:30 and 6 am.
If I were a paranoid person, I would only go to Krispy Kreme for coffee. At Starbucks, they ask for your name.
To the Krispy Kreme clerk with a trace of pity in her eyes: “Yes, the half dozen donuts aren’t actually ‘for the office’ and we both know it.”
“If you stop eating donuts you will live three years longer; it’s just three more years that you want a donut.”
The 12th robbery of a Krispy Kreme stores in Atlanta since August. That is unbelievable. 12 Donut shops not one cop, really?
