The Vietnam customs department has detected dozens of fraudulent Chinese illegal transfers of goods of all kinds. China has been labeling their goods as Vietnamese to avoid the Trump tariffs. Vietnam’s exports to the US have surged this year at the same time that China’s shipments to America have slumped. US Customs uncovered Chinese plywood being shipped to America via a Vietnamese company. Customs officials in Vietnam are strengthening their supervision and inspection of goods to crack down on the practice. The Chinese have even built fake European towns to attract tourists, notably Thames Town near Shanghai.
A man decides to put his counterfeit 30 dollar bills into circulation. He decides that a small town would be the best place to put them into circulation. “No one will know” he thinks. When he enters the store he chose to start breaking them up, he tells the cashier, “I got these brand new, shiny 30 dollar bills, Can you break them for me?” She says, “Sure, do you want it in 15’s or 6’s?”
“In China, they say piracy is so rampant that there are at least three fake Apple stores. It’s hard to put these people out of the business. If China arrests them for selling fake Apple products, they’ll be sent to prison where they will be forced to make real Apple products.”
