Herd of cows rescues calf

Some people believe humans are the most compassionate animals, but don’t overlook those Hindu cows. In the Indian city of Raigarh a bunch of cows were in the road and an impatient driver came flying in honking to scatter the cows. The cows moved out of the way of the impertinent human, but they did not account for one calf that was left standing in the road to be hit by the little car and then dragged down the street. About 600 feet later the driver slowed and came to a stop as the calf was being dragged along under his little car. As soon as he stopped the herd ran up and surrounded the vehicle trying to rescue their injured child. The driver was confused and then the locals started coming around as seen in the surveillance video below. Instinctively the folks knew something big was up by the way the cows were acting and they could hear the calf bleating, even if they could not see it.

As the crowd of men gathered from the neighborhood as the cows nervously circled the humans figured out the noise was coming from beneath the car. They got the driver out of the car and as the crowd had grown they decided to lift the car and get the calf out from under it. It took the guys a few tries, but they did end up getting the little car up on two wheels and a brave soul reached under to  pull the injured calf out. The animal could hobble and was later taken to a vet for repairs. The cows calmed down once their baby was free. All the humans were very happy with themselves. Which group saved the calf?

No rescue for the grinch

Shanick Suarez said her family decorated their Golden Gate Estates FL home for Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving. They discovered their inflatable Grinch had been stolen. “We were just dumbfounded. We were like, where did it go?” Shanick said she suspected the incident had been a prank when a neighbor texted her a few days later to say the Grinch had been found two houses away from her family’s home. The Dr. Seuss character was put back in place, but Shanick received an alert from her security camera on Wednesday, When She the video she was shocked and then amazed and tickled to see a bear in the middle of night trying to steal the Grinch again.

“I never expected it to be a bear.” Suarez said. “I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I literally, like, text my husband. I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ We were texting back and forth, just rewatching the video, sending it to all of our family and friends at five in the morning.” The bear tried to drag the green man away but the electrical cord tied him up. The bear is seen chewing through the cord to drag now deflated victim into the bear liar.  The Suarez family found the green grump punctured and deflated the next day, but it was too damaged to make a return to the yard. “We lost a lawn ornament but, It’s a funny story to tell,” she said.

Rescue Rhetoric

I rescued a dog that belonged to a blacksmith.
As soon as I brought it home, he made a bolt for the door.

I was clinging for dear life on the edge of the cliff…
As the rescue team approached, one of the guys shouted, “Whatever you do, don’t look down!”
So I started smiling…

A man once got locked inside a mailbox. Everyone rushed to his rescue,
Because he was a priority male.

A word of warning if you are thinking of getting a rescue cat.
My nan had a rescue cat. The other day she slipped and fell over.
The so called “rescue” cat just sat there and did nothing!
