Mr. Boo Wakes them up

Ariana Kecskes always thought their rescue cat, Mr. Boo, was the silent type. “He never meows. He usually just squeaks or doesn’t meow at all. It’s actually kind of a joke in our family,” Ariana explained. One Tuesday morning recently that all changed. “I woke up to my cat meowing. He continually walked up and down the halls meowing, acting like he wanted the family out of the house.” Mr. Boo reportedly even passed out a few times during his efforts to rouse the family, continually fighting off the effects of the carbon monoxide to save his loved ones. The Kecskes family knows now that an issue with a gas boiler in the basement of their home caused a potentially fatal carbon monoxide leak. The Kecskes are getting their furnace fixed and they are also stocking up on carbon monoxide detectors.

We had an old cat named Tiger that needed medication every day. Needless to say, the cat did not consider this a good time. So, every night the husband would get a big towel wrap it around the cat. He wrestled the toweled cat between his knees and forced its mouth open and put the pill down its throat. This worked pretty well, until one night the squirming cat wiggled away and my husband dropped the pill which rolled across the floor. Tiger bounded after the pill and promptly ate it right up

When my cat meows at me after I’ve meowed at her, I genuinely believe I’ve spoken some kind of word in cat language.

A new study found that dogs can actually feel genuine love for their owners. While cats just keep a journal of all the things they hate about you.

Me: (Sobbing) “One minute he loves me and the next he wants nothing to do me!”
Therapist: That’s pretty typical cat behavior….
