Sheepish Truck Driver

Sheepish Truck Driver

Ada Rangiwai was driving down the interstate minding her own business when the traffic ahead slowed to a crawl. There was no accident or construction. A semi-truck was pulled to the berm with a live sheep on top of the trailer. Ada captured the picture with her cell phone. The sheep seemed to be in good shape, but a little confused as were the gawkers. The truck driver had stopped and turned on the emergency flashers and was walking around the truck trying to figure out how to get the animal down. Heikell Transport spokesman declined comment about this story.

While driving my rig over the interstate, I pulled into a truck stop for breakfast. My company jacket proudly bore a patch proclaiming my long safety record. When the waitress came to my table, she looked at my jacket and said, “All those years of safety and you want to eat here?”

A Wilkinson Sword Blades truck almost crashed into a Gillette truck earlier today,
Both drivers said it was the closest shave they’ve ever had.
