Sugar is where you find it
The video below shows the elephant, known to local park rangers as Auan-tia, wandering into a road through the wildlife sanctuary in Chachoengsao, Thailand. He blocks the path of oncoming trucks. The thieving pachyderm then uses its long trunk to steal sugar cane out of truck’s cargo. Rangers said the elephant then inspected the loads from all of the trucks behind the original vehicle, taking crops from some. “The elephant was checking every car that passed. I think he believed he was a police inspector.”
I took my 7 year old son to the zoo. We were walking around and soon he said, “Look Dad! It’s ‘a frickin’ Elephant!” I was shocked and slightly angry, as everybody was looking at us. “What did you just call it?” I asked. “It’s a frickin’ Elephant, it says so on the picture!” he said, and he spelled it out, A F R I C A N Elephant.
