The Jetson’s have arrived
Those Slovaks have done it again. Now they can soar above the traffic jams. The hybrid AirCar, takes two minutes and 15 seconds to transform from car into aircraft. It is equipped with a BMW engine, runs on regular fuel and has clocked 40 hours in the air. Stefan Klein created the aircraft and said it could fly up to 600 miles at about 8,200 feet. Klein tested the aircraft himself. The aircraft isn’t ready to fly out of your driveway just yet – It cannot take off and land vertically. The aircraft can reach about 106 mph and is described as a “pleasant” and “normal” ride according to Klein. The aircraft took two years to build and about $2.3 million. “There are about 40,000 orders of aircraft in the United States alone. If we convert 5% of those, to change the aircraft for the flying car – we have a huge market. An aviation regular commented, “Anyone can make an airplane, the trick is making one that flies for the thick end of a million hours, with a person on board, without having an incident.”
Traffic Jams
The smallest interval of time known to man is that which occurs in Manhattan between the traffic signal turning green and the taxi driver behind you blowing his horn.
If everything seems to be coming your way, you’re probably in the wrong lane.
If robots can’t identify stop signs or traffic lights…
maybe self-driving cars are a bad idea.
Did you hear about the depressed traffic jam?
It was really bummer-to-bummer.
