Surprise, surprise

San Millan de Logrono Hospital in Spain is being sued for switching babies on mothers. One of the wrinkles in the case is that the babies are now 19 years old. It seems there were two baby girls that were born prematurely on the same day and were in incubators next to each other. Allegedly, when it came time to take the babies home they got switched. Both the girls have grown normally with parents or caregivers through the vagaries of life. The conflict was exposed when the “mother” of one girl sued the alleged father for divorce and DNA tests said the “daughter” was the fruit of neither of them. This led to a lawsuit against the hospital who admitted it could have been human error as they tracked down the half of the event, who wants to remain anonymous.  Family #1 is suing the in the country’s northern La Rioja region for just over $6 million. “It was a human error and we haven’t been able to find out who was to blame,” health chief Sara Alba said at news conference earlier this week. The ministry has only offered compensation of $250,000, reports say. The hospital spokeswoman said, it would “be impossible for something like this to happen again today” because procedures for identifying babies were “safe and reliable.” The regional government would respect the legal process and offer the families whatever support they needed.

Not my Baby

My wife said to put a baby monitor in the crib with our son…

but I don’t think lizards make very good pets for babies.

Mr. and Mrs. Wong have a baby. When the baby is born, Mr. Wong immediately knows that Mrs. Wong has cheated on him…Because two Wongs don’t make a white.

I got a letter from my sister.
She just had a baby.
But she didn’t say whether it’s a boy or girl.
So, I don’t know if I’m an uncle or an aunt.

I had a vasectomy. Did you know that it actually doesn’t prevent your wife from getting pregnant it just changes the color of the baby. Or at least that’s what my mailman said.
