Hot cell phone talk

Even the Vietnamese have explosive conversations. The video below shows a tech trying to repair a cell phone screen when the battery from the phone spontaneously explodes on the bench next to him. Actually there is another video available that shows a similar event in Las Vegas. Except for Samsung Galaxy Note 7, most phones using original equipment and parts under normal circumstances are pretty safe. The challenge comes when people use the wrong charger or buy cheap, knock off batteries in their phones. Cell phones usually have temperature warnings built in, so that you are warned before the battery overdoes itself…Andrew Granger of Glasgow, Scotland, bought his Samsung Galaxy A02 last month. However, only three weeks into enjoying his new device, Granger was holding it and talking to someone when he felt it burning up in his hand. He dropped it on the carpeting, and it burst into flame. He tried to save the carpeting by putting the phone out the window and caught the curtains on fire. He poured water on the phone which stopped the fire, but voided the phone warranty. Andrew was not pleased…In general, don’t let your phone get hot (95 degrees), only use genuine chargers and you can talk to anyone anyway you want.

Explosive cell phone humor:

The only reason I have a land line is so I can find my cell phone.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is claiming that the $1000 iPhone 12 is a good value. Cook said, “It’s the last phone you’ll ever need for the next eight months.”

My neighbor always complains she never gets any phone calls; so, for her birthday, I put one of those ‘How’s my driving?’ bumper stickers on her car.
