Luckiest woman on an unlucky day

Ms. Bradford Ross was traveling across the Skagit River bridge on I-5 in Washington uesday morning. It seemed like a day like lots of other days. There was a big truck in front of her and he had stopped for some traffic issue. Ms. Ross sat in her 2015 Nissan Altima Sedan stopped for traffic. Grady Ayers was traveling behind Bradford Ross in a Black 2009 Peterbilt Semi truck and did not see the traffic stopped in time. He struck her car from behind. The force of the impact folded the Nissan Altima in half on top of itself and the semi came to rest on top of the car, trapping Bradford Ross in her vehicle. Fortunately, for the lady there was a state police car in the traffic jam and he quickly called for the ambulance and a tow truck.

Trooper Rocky Oliphant said “There’s really not a word to describe this collision. In my 14-year career, I have never seen anything like it.” “Just a loud bang,” said Mike Dewitt, who saw the crash. “Everybody (in) my family (was) like there’s no way, no way somebody survived that.”  Lucky for the Ms. Ross, there was a big tow truck was just down the street.  When Trooper Oliphant approached the flattened car, he couldn’t believe what he heard. “He walked up (and) he walked around the car and he heard, ‘Help, help,'” Oliphant said. “And he said, ‘Oh my goodness!’” Troopers say the tow truck lifted the front end of the semi off the car, then the woman was able to crawl out of the crumpled Nissan Altima from a little gap where her passenger-side window was.  She was then transported to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon for treatment for her injuries.

“It is nothing short of a miracle in my opinion. I don’t know how she survived this,” said Trooper Rocky Oliphant. “She is the luckiest unlucky woman. I mean unlucky to be in a situation like that, but incredibly lucky to have survived it. There is no explanation to why she’s alive,” Oliphant said. “Let alone minor injuries.”

Rear ended jokes

Did you hear about the snail who had to call a tow truck?
He couldn’t make ‘is-car-go.

A truck carrying Vicks Vapor Rub overturned on the highway this morning
Luckily there was no congestion.

A woman made a right hand turn from the left lane and collided with another car. The driver of the other car angrily asked, “Why lady didn’t you signal you were going to turn.” She did not hesitate for a moment and answered, “Mister, I always turn here.”

A policeman at the scene of a car accident was helping one of the drivers out of a damaged car and asked, “Are you seriously hurt”? “How should I know? The driver responded, ” I’m a doctor, not a lawyer.”
