Let Fluffy do it

Fluffy can walk, run and even jump, but has no fur. Fluffy does errands and can scoot through the Ford plant and avoid lift trucks and workers as he carryies the documents and parts he has been sent to fetch. Fluffy does get tired, perhaps quicker than most people like, so the company got him his own little scooter for the long trips from one end of the complex to the other. Fluffy is a robot made by Boston Dynamics. Fluffy’s main job is to observe. Like your family dog it just nestles down and watches people and machinery work. Fluffy records what they do and how they do it in order to build better methods of making car parts. His best duty now is making sure that the parts that come together on the line fit each other as every car is now custom assembled. You can see Fluffy’s brothers in action in the video below.

Robotic Humor

If robots can’t identify stop signs or traffic lights in captcha images…
maybe self-driving cars are a bad idea.

I can’t wait for an AI to reach 10% of the capabilities of the average human.
Then we can replace all of Congress with a single robot.

I had a terrible dream of a dystopian future where robots controlled every aspect of our lives.
Luckily, I was awakened by my Tesla.

Give a robot a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a robot to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
Teach a robot to teach other robots to fish, you’re out of a job.
