Remember the time you promised

Thomas Cook is a real pal. Not just a good buddy or regular golf partner. When he won $22 million in the Wisconsin Powerball lottery he quickly recalled a deal he made with friend Joseph Feeney in 1992. The two fishermen shook hands and agreed that if either of them ever won a Powerball jackpot, they would split the winnings. “Tom called me and I said, ‘Are you jerking my bobber?'” Feeney recalled. The buddies took the lump sum option for their payouts, each received about $5.7 million after taxes. Cook retired and Feeney, who had already retired previously, said the money will allow them to spend more time with their families. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in about 292 million.

Somebody has to win laughs:

A farmer wins the lottery. A reporter asks him: ” What are you going to do with the money?” He says: “I’m just going to keep on farming until it is all gone.

In class, my statistics teacher said, “The lottery is a tax on fools who can’t do math.” I shrugged and said, “Hell, anybody can win the lottery.” My statistics teacher smirked, folded his arms and asked, “Do you even know the chances of a person winning the lottery?” I said, “Yep. 100%. A person always wins.”

My ex-girlfriend just told me she wants us to get back together again. MAN! I sure am LUCKY! I mean, first I win the lottery and now “THIS”!

God finally answer my prayers for winning the $15 million lottery.
The answer was no.
