Entomophobia? Don’t let them bug you

Before they eloped in 2017, the software engineer was blissfully unaware of his bride’s crippling fear of roaches. The marital bliss didn’t last long. One day after the wedding, the wife entered their home’s kitchen and let out such a bloodcurdling scream that alerted every single family member and some neighbors as well. In the kitchen, a single cockroach crawled along. Most people would’ve killed the bug and called and exterminator. That wasn’t enough for her, she refused to enter the kitchen ever again. The only solution that would placate her, she said, was to move to a different house. They moved to a brand-new home, but the hot and humid climate in India makes a cockroach paradise. Shortly, another bug to make its way into this new home. The wife demanded they move to another house. Reluctantly, the husband caved, the cycle repeated 18 times. Concerned for his wife’s mental wellbeing, he took his wife to see several different psychiatrists. Doctors prescribed medications to the woman, but she refused to take any of them. In her mind, there was nothing wrong with her. Tired of arguing and fighting, the man has hired a lawyer and his application for divorce is pending.

Bugaphobic humor

A woman goes to the doctor looking fantastic: hair and makeup done by a professional, Gucci heels, Versace dress and Prada purse. “I’ve been stung by a nasty insect of some kind,” she tells the doctor, “…but I’m ashamed to tell you where.” “It’s okay,” says the doctor. “Our communication is privileged; I won’t tell anyone.”
“Okay,” says the woman. “It was at Walmart.”

I have opinions about many insects,
But I can say for a fact that mosquitos suck.

A flying insect has just crashed into our bedroom window and exploded!
I think it was a jihaddy long legs

So you know the fear of spiders is arachnophobia? What’s the fear of chainsaws?
Common sense.
