Pickup for the long haul

Anyone can run a marathon, try doing it while you are pulling a 3000 pound pickup truck. Corey Philpott, 23, recently completed the challenge dubbed the “World’s Strongest Marathon” in a suburb of Sydney, Australia. Cory finished in 16 hours, 12 minutes and beating the car-pulling marathon world record by more than an hour. “It always seemed like an awesome concept to me, but I never ever thought I was fit enough or had the courage to put it out into the universe and say I’m going to give it a crack,” Philpott wrote. For added accountability, Philpott announced his plans on social media, and from there, he had no choice but to power forward. He trained for eight months. “I’d start at about one or two in the morning [and] get four or five hours [of] training in before work.” Cory turned the event into a fundraiser for ChildSafe Australia, supporting children and putting an end to child sexual abuse. “I was just thinking about my wife,” (who had been abused) “That’s what brought me to raise awareness for ChildSafe,” Cory explained.

Bodybuilding for Laughs

My bodybuilder friends are getting a divorce.
They clearly weren’t working out.

J.K. Rowling recently tweeted out that Hogwarts actually has a full gym for wizards to exercise and lift weights.
The entrance is called the Dumbbell Door.

What does a bodybuilder think before he does squats? Don’t Fart….Don’t Fart…..

After years of hard work in the gym as a personal trainer, I finally admitted I wasn’t strong enough and quit.
I just handed in my too weak notice.

Morning Motivator:

People do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential.
