Just hanging around
Daniel DeNiet and Tom Burdett had been returning home to campus about 10 pm. “I got to the top of the stairs and I heard shouting and screaming for help. I looked up and saw someone wedged in the window.” Mr. Burdett said: “I turned the corner and saw a pair of legs sticking out of a window quite far up. I was in pure hysterics. I couldn’t stop laughing for a good few minutes.” The pair initially thought he was a drunk student who got himself wedged in the middle of a prank. The hanger said, “I’ve been here for five hours” and they erupted into laughter. After talking to the screaming prisoner they called 911 and both fire and police responded. They had to cut the guy out of the window. But as the fire service freed him, they discovered his overturned ladder, Police spokesman said: “We have charged Carl Attar, 27, with burglary.” Dan and Tom were the talk of the campus for a while.
