A whale of a tale

Michael Packard, a Massachusetts lobster diver, was swimming in 45 feet of water,  looking for lobsters last Friday and all of a sudden everything went black. Packard said he initially thought he was attacked by a shark, but realized he didn’t feel like he was bitten and wasn’t in any pain. That’s when he realized he was actually inside the mouth of a whale and fought to locate his breathing regulator fearing he could run out of air and suffocate. The whale had other plans seconds later. The whale did not like the taste and spat him out after about 40 seconds. “I was in his closed mouth for about 30 to 40 seconds before he rose to the surface and spit me out. I am very bruised up, but have no broken bones.” For those frantic moments, all he could think about was his two young boys and possibly dying inside the whale before the mammal rejected him as a meal. Michela was bruised and shaken, but a medical exam gave him a clean slate.

Fish Stories

Give a Man a Fish and You Will Feed Him for a Day.
Teach a man to fish and he will spend a fortune on gear he will only use twice a year.

Noah was fishing one day off the side of the ark.
Suddenly he looked around and yelled out, “Can someone bring me the other worm?”

What did one fish say to another?
“Keep your mouth shut and you’ll never get caught.”

I phoned the wife earlier and asked if she wanted me to pick up Fish and Chips on the way home, but she just grunted at me.
I think she still regrets letting me name the twins.
