Shocking Fish Story

Sam Buduris and Marlon Munoz were fishing from a boat on the Caloosahatchee River, near Fort Myers, Florida. They saw a storm approaching and started packing up their equipment. The rain had not yet started, they were pulling in their gear and getting ready to beat the storm back home, when a bolt of lightning struck. The resulting flash and boom froze both of them in place. Then they saw one of the fishing rods in its holder had exploded and was on fire. “It was an immense noise. For a second, both of us were completely speechless,” Sam said. Once they recovered, they wanted to scram even faster, but the lightning had cooked the electrical system on the boat. They were able to get one of the two outboards running by bypassing the controls and putted home at 3 miles per hour. Marlin said, “We are really lucky to be alive. We learned a valuable lesson last night, rods down when the dark cloud is around.”

Tell me about your catch

A small-town doctor was famous in the area for always catching large fish.
One day while he was on one of his frequent fishing trips, he got a call that a woman at a neighboring farm was giving birth. He rushed to her aid and delivered a healthy baby boy. The farmer had nothing to weigh the baby with, so the doctor used his fishing scales. The baby weighed 32 lb. 10 oz

After returning from fishing trip with husband a wife told her neighbor: “I did everything all wrong again today — I talked too much and too loud. I used the wrong bait. I reeled in too soon and I caught more than he did.”

My wife drives like lightning.
I don’t mean she drives fast – she hits trees.

I’m was pounding a nail into the wall when my wife comments, “You hammer like lightning.”
I replied, “You think I’m that fast?”
She said, “No. You never hit the same spot twice.”
