Wesley Williams, 25 of Florida had a tall challenge before him. He came to this opportunity wounded and after a setback that nearly killed him on his previous attempt. Wesley has broken his own record just over a year after breaking his back during the semi-final of Spain’s Got Talent 2021. While performing, Wesley’s unicycle malfunctioned, causing him to fall over 27 ft to the floor. He suffered extremely severe injuries, requiring five operations, two metal plates, 35 screws, and 83 stitches. Wesley later revealed that the accident nearly paralyzed him. The mishap occurred during the when his unicycle malfunctioned, causing him to fall 27 feet to the floor. But he never gave up, revealing two months later on Instagram that he had been walking in orthopedic boots “far ahead of any doctor prognosis” with the help of a walker. If anything, the “One Wheel Wonder” returned to the scene of the traumatic crash and decided to go even bigger.
Wesley Williams has taken the art of unicycle riding to unprecedented new heights. Wesley has built – and successfully ridden – the world’s tallest rideable unicycle, measuring 31 ft 10 in. It’s almost a meter taller than the previous tallest unicycle, which was also built by Wesley, back in 2020. Before that, Mushegh Khachatryan (Armenia) held the record with a 19-ft-8.2-in high unicycle. Two months after the unfortunate event, Wesley shared on his Instagram that he was walking with the help of a walker. Guiness World Record rules required Williams to ride the tallest ever unicycle a minimum distance of 27 feet, 10 inches, which he accomplished on December 29 at the Weltweihnachts Circus in Stuttgart, Germany. Wesley went around the stage twice to make sure to cover the necessary distance and won the Guinness World Records title. He performed the act successfully while riding the unicycle despite the bike’s heavy strain. Wesley said, “I am always striving to do more and take things to the next level. If that means breaking my own records, so be it.” He wants to use this achievement to teach others that nothing is impossible.

I road my bicycle to the liquor store the other day…
I bought a bottle of vodka and put it in the bike’s basket. As I was about to leave, I thought to myself that if I fell the bottle would break. So I drank all the vodka and then headed home. It turned out to be a really good decision because I fell eleven times on my way home.

There was a motorbike crash in my street, I shouted, “Let me through. Let me through.”
“Are you a doctor,” they asked.
I said, “No it’s my Pizza.”
I called the bicycle factory and asked to speak to whoever was in charge of wheels. The person who answered said they weren’t there, so I asked, “Okay, who are you?”
She responded…“I’m the spokes person.”
